  19. You Could save some time and energy this 
  20. way in certain situations. The other part of the Ease Access  INIT, "Mouse Keys," is invoked by pressing  Command-Shift-Clear.  This acts as a  toggle, meaning you turn Mouse Keys off  the same way.  When Mouse Keys is on, the pointer can be moved by using the numeric keypad instead of the mouse.  The 8, 4, 2, & 6 keys are for direction while the 5 key functions like the mouse button.  The zero key (0) locks the "mouse button" so you can drag things.  The longer you hold down a direction key, the faster it moves.  If it moves too fast, you might want to use the Control Panel to change the mouse speed

  33. move the pointer one pixel.  This can be 
  34. useful for fine positioning of objects or 
  35. the pointer in draw programs other 
  36. programs that allow movement of objects 
  37. (although many such programs are 
  38. starting to incorporate their own method 
  39. for fine movements).  Although it 
  40. probably doesn't happen to you often, 
  41. occasionally the mouse will freeze.  
  42. Usually Easy Access will not be affected.  
  43. So you can use Mouse Keys to shut down 
  44. your computer gracefully instead of just 
  45. using the restart button.
